Martial Arts Confrontation: Elimination I Winner takes it all
Date, place: 2007-09-15, Hala "Orbita", Wrocław back
KSW: Elimination is the new concept of the Polish leading MMA promotion. It was the first time when KSW held their show outside of Warsaw. On September 15th 2007 the all ?combat eyes? in Poland were concentrated on Wroclaw, Lower Silesian voivodeship capital city, where in seven tournament bouts eight up-and-coming Polish fighters wanted to make a name for themselves. The promoters picked Pawel Gasinski, Norbert Swierblewski, Jan Blachowicz, Sebastian Olchawa, Daniel Dowda, Pawel Morawski, Marcin Makowski and Mariusz Slotta to compete in the tourney. Great excitement, huge dose of adrenaline and high-level battles selected the best out of eight. The Octagon Rybnik fighter Jan Blachowicz won the tournament in the dominant fashion. As usual apart from the tourney there were extra fights, which featured KSW Team members. Lukasz Jurkowski quickly stopped Tony Galic, while Krzysztof Model Kulak ran through Evert Fyeet (Holland). Mamed Khalidov made his second KSW appearance in front of the public in Wroclaw. Chechen born fighter didn?t have any problems against Martin King Kong Zawada, tapping him out with a toe hold in the opening round.
