There was one significant change at the seventh KSW show. Our announcer Ireneusz Sharifi was replace by the ?Antyradio? presenter Przemyslaw Jah Jah Frankowski. Besides that one personnel change everything else remained the same. The promoter once again contracted the best domestic fighters and world-class foreigners. Eight formidable warriors entered the competition for the seventh KSW tournament championship. Polish honor was being defended by Krzysztof Kulak, Igor Kolacin, Robert Jocz and Michał Materla. They competed against Martin Zawada, Jan Antoska, Antonio Mendes and Migaudas Kuktaikis. Brazilian native Mendes claimed the victory after a dominating performance, which later secured him a deal with the biggest MMA organization in the world UFC. Martin Lewandowski and Maciej Kawulski accustomed KSW fans, that apart from the tournament there also intriguing super-fights. There were as many as four additional bouts. In the first one Maciej Gorski outpointed Pawel Jozwiak, then Lukasz Jurkowski submitted Ishkhan Zaharyna pretty easily. One of the best MMA fighters in Poland, Chechen born Mamed Khalidov made his KSW debut dispatching Aleskander Stefanovic. The main attraction of that evening saw Przemyslaw Saleta?s mixed martial arts debut against Martin Malhasyan. The performance of the former boxer was a total disaster. Saleta threw only one leg kick, was taken down and submitted by the experienced Russian.
