December 12th 2009 was memorable day in Polish MMA history. For the first time the full Torwar hall was made accessible to avid KSW fans, what led to almost six thousands people in attendance. What is more stunning the show was completely sold out within three days. What is more Maciej Kawulski?s and Martin Lewandowski?s product was watched by six million viewers on Polsat TV. Once again KSW owners were able to gather world class fighters from all over the globe. The first heavyweight tournament featured eight amazing warriors. Dawid Baziak, Daniel Omielanczuk, Wojciech Orlowski and Karol Bedorf represented Poland, the foreign team consisted of Maksim Grishin, Arunas Vilius, Konstantin Gluhov and David Olivia. After exciting elimination bouts the two latter ones emerged as the tourney finalists and they will meet in the ring at the next KSW event, when one of them will be crowned a KSW Federation champion. There were also three extra fights. KSW Team member Daniel Dowda dropped an unanimous decision against Englishman James Zikic. Maciek Gorski was scheduled to fight The Ultimate Fighter reality show veteran Dean Amasinger. The Englishman presented his outstanding skills and unfortunately tapped KSW Team fighter with a slick guillotine choke. World?s Strongest Man Mariusz Pudzianowski?s MMA debut was definitely the highlight of show. The popular Pudzian faced a heavyweight pro boxer Marcin Najman. The fight lasted only forty four seconds and the strongman got his first W. KSW 12 show ended with middleweight tournament final, in which Aslambek Saidov battled against Vitor Nobrega. After three five-minute rounds and a three-minute extra round the Brazilian received a split nod from the judges.
