That was the first KSW visit in the Upper Silesia with their top notch MMA product. KSW Extra not only featured many extra fights but also a brand new lightweight tournament. Under seventy-three-kilogram fighters received their chance to battle for the KSW Federation title belt. Jedrzej Kubski, Mariusz Pioskowik, Zaurbaek Muchaev and KSW Team fighter Maciek Gorski competed in this all Polish tourney. The first KSW Extra champion emerged after outstanding semi-final and final matches. Gorski won the title, defeating Kubski via unanimous judges decision. There was also a stunning number of nine extra fights. Bruns Marchiano (Holland) choked out Andrzej Kumor, Petr Sobotta (Germany) stopped Kerrim Abzailov with strikes on the ground, Mariusz Slotta lost to Jamhami Satisch (Holland). KSW Team members also had their bouts: Antoni Chmielewski earned a spectacular knockout against Andre Reinders (Czech Republic), Krzyszto Kulak had no answer for Alexander Gustafsson (Sweden) and lost via decision. Lukasz Jurkowski also wasn?t successful as he was submitted by the KSW 5 champion Francis Carmont. Jan Blachowicz added another victory to his record capitalizing on Christian M?Pumbu?s mistake and tapped with an armbar. Daniel Dowda also didn?t disappoint beating Marko Dmonjic after an extra round. Mamed Khalidov and Daniel Tabera met in the main event of the show. After two hard fought ten minutes and an extra round judges declared a draw. You have to mention the fact that the show was visited by the formidable guest, Dutch manager Bart Hagendoorn, who not only watched the fights, but also helped KSW owners to find a replacement opponent for Krzysztof Kulak.
